I've been using this file on my natural nails before applying press-ons, and the coarse-to-medium grit gives just the right amount of texture without damaging the surface. The shape makes it easy to get into the cuticle area too.

The medium grit is exactly what I needed for smoothing out my acrylics after they grow out a bit, and it cuts fast without gouging the nail. I've already used it on three sets and it's still biting nicely, which surprised me for the price.

This file is the perfect grit for shaping acrylics without being too aggressive. I've been using it on a few sets now and it still cuts smoothly without wearing down. Really glad I picked this up.
