Mr Max Factor was a visionary make up artist, wig maker, and an inventor. He was born in Russia and emigrated in 1914 to America. He settled in LA to be closer to the budding film industry. Which helped build his guiding philosophy, which was that any women can be glamorous given the right tools and make up artsy skills.
