The 5-minute timing is legit, and it toned down the orange in my bleached hair without drying it out. I just wish the bottle were a bit bigger for the price.

My hair was brassy yellow after bleaching, but using this toner for exactly 5 minutes gave it a nice cool beige tone. The consistency is a bit runny, so you have to work fast applying it evenly. It definitely toned down the warmth without drying my hair out.
